Players of the week for January 16-22:

9th:  Isiah Walker - Isiah contributed to both the 9A and 9B teams.  His defense and floor leadership assisted in wins over Cooper and Totino Grace.

JV:  Jonny Nguyen - Jonny had 35 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists, and 12 steals in the two games.  Nice line!

The Knights rolled past St. Louis Park at home Thursday with a 99-75 victory, and then took to the road this weekend for their annual trip in Winona. In addition to a great two days of team-building, the Varsity Knights delivered on the court with another resounding victory of 73-53. The JV team also won in double digits, and the B-Squad lost by 1 in a hard-fought game. Congratulations to all the Knights!

As of Wednesday, April 20th, Irondale's all-time scoring leader and this year's North Suburban Conference MVP Bryan Sprang signed a letter of intent to attend and play basketball with Division II University of Minnesota Duluth.
